Donate to the OD Network

Throughout its history, the Network has shown its commitment to the field of OD and to its members by working to continuously improve its products and service delivery. We plan to serve the field of OD and our members with the same dedication in 2009 and beyond.

In 2009, to upgrade current service to our members and prepare for future enhancements, the Network will be investing in its technological infrastructure. We intend to finish configuring the information system that is the backbone of our membership services operations.

To achieve this goal and achieve a breakthrough in our membership service potential, we also need your support. Please review the details of this project below, and consider investing in our future. Know that your support will continue to strengthen the OD Network, our membership, and the field.

How will the money be spent?

  • Consulting support to review and restructure the current system.
  • Training for staff and end-users.
  • Documenting policies and procedures to orient new employees more quickly.

How specifically will the system be improved?

  • We will expand our ability to track and report membership activity, and this will allow us to contact members more reliably with information and messages.
  • We will be able to collect more accurate and relevant demographic information, and this will enable us define and serve our various "customers"more precisely.
  • We will be able to streamline our membership structure and services we offer our members.
  • We will be able to sharpen our financial planning, tracking, documentation, and reporting activities.

How will OD Network members benefit? How will the field benefit?

  • Members will have more opportunities to serve themselves online.
  • As the efficiency of our administrative operations increases, members will experience faster response times and shorter waits.
  • As our systems and processes become more efficient and reliable, the Network can invest savings in new programs and services for members.
  • As the Network's technological capacities become stronger and more stable, we can focus more intentionally on increasing the visibility and credibility of our members, the Network, and the field of OD.
